Bell Temple #D 7 3/4"
Bells have a special significance for Buddhists everywhere. They are rung not only for their beauty of tone. They are used in Chanting and Special Ceremonies throughout the year. Temple Bells have traditionally been ornamented with Symbolic Decoration.
Throughout the ages, religious individuals have sought to create an environment that would enhance spiritual communion by appealing to the senses. The bell held a certain Aura of Mysticism. From earliest times, the indefinite fading of a ringing tone has been associated with the Infinite.
Although contemporary, this Temple Bell was fashioned after antique bells. This bell measures approx. 7 3/4" tall by about 7 1/4" at it widest.
