Bell Elephant Iron #G
This Authentic Antique Hand Made Iron Elephant Bell is approx. 7 1/2" tall by 5" wide. Larger old bells such as this one are hung about the Elephant's necks so the Mahouts can more easily locate their animals while they are out feeding in the jungles. This Unique Bell was hand made by the Mahout (elephant handler and owner). The bell has a long clangor in the interior that creates Unique Sounds as it swings back and forth with the Swaying Movement of these Gentle Giants. These same type bells are also placed on some of the larger Water Buffalos.
