Malas are strings of beads used as an aid to Prayer or Chants called "Mantras," and help in meditation practice in the Buddhist Religion. Mantras are Spiritual Prayers and are usually repeated many times.
Each Mala has all 108 Bodhi Seed Beads with Agate Counters and the Guru Bead. The malas measure approx. 35" in circumference with the tassels hanging an additional 8 1/2". Each Bodhi seed bead measures approx. 3/8" in diameter.
