Opium Lamp - Brass #B
This Lamp stands approx. 3 3/4" tall and is approx. 2 3/4" at its base.
Lamps such as this were used to illuminate the dim shadows of the Chinese Opium Dens, often times the only lighting in these establishments. Smokers would indulge themselves in quiet repose while in communal buildings. This Authentic Opium Lamp/Lighter is in very nice condition for its age. A beautiful Patina has developed on the brass base and over the years adding to its charm. We realize that most collectors request the articles to remain unaltered, we have left this Opium Lamp in its Original Condition just as we found it, you can clean it if you wish.
