Tibetan prayer wheels are religious instruments used for spreading spiritual blessings and well being. Rolls of thin paper, imprinted with copies of a mantra or prayer are printed in Tibetan script and are wound around an axle in a protective container. Each spin of the wheel symbolizes one prayer being recited.
