Kapala: Monkey Skull
This Fascinating and Mystical Decorated Buddhist Monkey Kapala is adorned with Silver, Copper and Brass Decorations with Glass Eyes and a Coral Colored Bead on the top. The top of its head is hinged to allow Sacred Oils to be placed inside which are traditionally used in Buddhist ceremonies. Kapalas such as this are found in the Buddhist Temples throughout Tibet and Nepal. We believe this kapala is of man made resin material.
This Buddhist Decorated Kapala measures approx. 6" from front to back, approx. 5" high and is 4 3/4" wide. Our images have attempted to show the accents which embellish this Wonderful Work of Art!
